  1. Women should always FEEL unsafe on the streets at night because the streets will always BE unsafe. That brings me no happiness, but it's a reality as old as mankind. It will never be economically viable to put enough police or measures onto the streets to guarantee safety.

  2.  @FortoFight  I'm all for that, and I think that will help with date rape, but I don't think that it would have made a blind bit of difference to THIS specific crime or other stranger rapes - that's a line that has nothing to do with culture.
