Zuckerberg is like the gaming industry: they want to take zero responsibility for their exploitation of their users, but keep on pushing the limits more and more until they suddenly find themsleves being regulated by governments across the planet. Their greed and contempt for the public is boundless, and nobody is fooled by Zuckerberg's talk about censorship being too great a job for one man. Nobody is suggesting that one man does it. I'd happily see the company broken up entirely. It has too much power in the marketplace of ideas. But go on Zuckerberg, keep digging your heels in. It will only hasten your demise.

@demetriusmiddleton1246 Yes, I agree 100% Demetrius (with the question), but understand that if you have no censorship EVERY platform will immediately turn into a rancid cesspool of bullying, dogpiling, insults and shit. These are privately-owned platforms. They will not make money if nobody wants to use them, and they have no obligation to maintain freedom of speech.

No company has an obligation to advertise on Facebook. No user has an obligation to agree with its promotion of disinformation for profit. Facebook CLEARLY has an obligation to take some responsibility for the content it hosts, at least in terms of advertising. It also has a clear duty of care to its users.
