  1. How would the growth of black holes violate energy conservation? Of COURSE they grow, as more matter falls into them. Frankly, I've come to have growing suspicion for science, and especially cosmology over the past 5 years, and no, Professor Dave, it's not because of Sabine's anti-science bias; it's because science keeps making preposterous claims and then having to retract them, or simply changing its mind. Scientists have to discover or create stuff to keep getting paid. Anyone see a potential conflict there?
