  4.  @RadAngelDMV  It's the GOP who spent the past 70 year pushing the southern strategy to foment racial division for political gain. But no, it doesn't rock the narrative. The vast majority of Southerners never owned slaves, just like the majority of modern GOP voters are not millionaires, but they sure carry water for them. If you are an accessory to a crime, then you are still guilty. I will concede however, that there was no likely no such thing as a conscientious objector once the ware started. Just as ALL Palestinians are being tormented now, for the actions of a small minority.
