  1. Oh come on Mike - we're just as smug and condescending to Trump voters. The problem is assuming that just because someone famous is progressive that they will see the world the same way you do. You feel a sense of moral superiority for recognising Trump as a danger, even though millions of progressives did not. They're only a small step removed from you, and frankly, the silly belief that they would see "correctly" on every issue just because they're progressive makes no more sense than thinking that you could NEVER have any areas of agreement with Saddam Hussein on any issues. And let's be honest, Bill Maher was becoming a self righteous douchebag LOOOONG before this election.
