  1. Hey JD, when I was 5 years old, my schizophrenic father threw me down a flight of stairs for breaking my glasses. He was violent and abusive towards my mother. Eventually, we fled in the dead of night, and went to live in a battered wives shelter several towns over because the police felt it was not safe to live in the same town. If only my mother had not changed partners like changing her underwear (it actually took 10 years before she remarried), following your advice, we could all be happily dead now. Thank you for caring.
