  1.  I object to this characterisation of evolution. Evolution is not an intelligence, nor is it aiming towards a specific point. There are numerous evolutionary traits that have been invented and reinvented (sight for instance), and characteristics that have gone "backwards" as well as forwards - the evolution of swimming for instance. This talk fails totally at every premise.
