  2. I thought his example was perfectly understandable. All you did was complicate the variables. Everyone can relate to temperature and dirt, whereas RGB values are far more esoteric.

Richard Smith I realise that, so if you are giving an example to laymen,  why use as your reference, something even more complicated like the range of RGB values that describe a colour, when you can serve the  purpose perfectly adequately using a washing machine?
