  3. I'm actually opposed to affirmative action admissions. How can you ever be certain that a student got lower grades due to lesser opportunity, compared to simply being inadequate? I'm in favour of better and fairer pre-university education not linked to the wealth of an area. Ultimately, I don't understand why SCOTUS should have any say in the selection criteria of private educational institutions. It's ridiculous that the black member of SCOTUS should recuse herself. Surely, the very that they ARE black gives them a different perspective? Why should white people be the only ones with a voice?
