  1. Habba (almost certainly at the direction of Trump) was trying to tap into the growing distaste of victim culture that exists. However, she gravely miscalculated how that would play out in court. Trump can exploit that on the campaign trail because his audience is as repugnant as he is, but in a court, where people get to answer back, and an intelligent advocate gets to contextualise, it plays disastrously.
