  1. What a profoundly sad and insightful lecture. What a pity that America is both miserly and vengeful on these issues, and I understand it completely, because the potential benefits of better child services are intangible: unquantifiable. Whilst the threat to your god of personal liberty represented by early intervention terrifies even the most right wing. And meanwhile, you are arguing for the right to bear arms and stop gays marrying. Talk about a disconnect from what really matters.

  2. Yes, I have been aware of it for less time, but it still disturbs me that in an age when media is more important than facts or reality, that the media has become so powerfully one-sided.
