  1. No disrespect, but we're hardly going to start designing for people whose hearing is damaged. What we want to do is prevent damaging people's health with noisy environments.

  2. Fantastic - probably the most beneficial TED talk I've ever watched! We've all felt the incredible frustration that comes from background noise, and noisy neighbopurs have literally driven me to want to kill. This stuff is so obvious,and by linking it to measurable health damage, perhaps people might start to take it more seriously!
