Then having justifiably killed his child's murderer, he then attempts to leave other kids without a father by shooting a cop. And we're supposed to feel what? I feel nothing but contempt for the man.

  2. That title is incredibly misleading. His former trans identity was a miniscule part of his monologue. The way it's labelled, it makes it sound like his trans identity was a significant part of his life, but in fact this entire piece was about him overcoming the trauma of an evil paedophile father. His entire life is lived through THAT lens. Jake seems like an amazingly decent person. I wish him well with his life.
