There's only so many times you can watch exactly the same "Greedy/lazy/incompetent builders/owners and/or corrupt officials/architects/politicians - lots of people died horribly" stories before you develop contempt for the human race and stop watching. Stories of man's misfortune against the elements, or against unpredictable forces are more interesting. These hotel/store/apartment fire/collapse stories all blur together after a while.
