"Barnoness Fox" eh The Sun. No wonder your readers are illiterate.

I totally accept what he is saying about cheek touching as a gesture of affection. Nothing bizarre about it, but lying sleaze-peddlers like the Sun, who see the world in terms of sexual behaviour, see it through the lens of their own immorality.

Yeah - just when you think 2020 was bad enough.

Imagine Britain allowing investigators from an enemy nation in to conduct an investigation.

Pathetic. Children already spend 13 years of their lives in compulsory education - 6-8 hours 5 days a week. If education was delivered effectively, tey could learn weat they learn i n a fraction of the time, especially in secondary school. Children are NOT property of the state, to mould into perfect little consumer drones. Let the poor sods live their lives rather than cloisering them in their damned bully havens.
2
"Not cold where I live so must be a lie." And this idiot got over 70 likes.

@cmc2838 Same thing with Justin Trudeau. The problem is their pandering, political virtue signalling and the moronic message. Sexual impropriety has now been weaponised. That said, there is a clear correlation between power and abuse. Kavanaugh is guilty as sin.

Why is that idiot walking his dog in that?

It appears that police can be on both sides of the equation. Sadly, police self defence training is laughably poor so she would have had barely any more chance than a normal civilian. The brutality of this attack suggests a personal grudge or motive.

For a fantastically intelligent, fantastically insightful man, Murray can talk some nonsense. "Endlessly recyclying decades old stories is a sign of decadence". What, like the Biblical foundation of western society does, or the morality tales and fairy stories that have been passed down for hundreds or thousands of years in every nation on earth? People whining about how badly off they are whilst living in the greatest time ever to live. What the hell does the rest of human history have to do with it? People's happiness is relative to the times and circumstances in which they live. Wealthy people commit suicide. You don't go up to a medieval person dying og black death and say "Well at least you're not being eaten by a sabre tooth tiger!" Trans issue: Wilfully choosing not to accept a definition of gender which has changed from the one that YOU prefer to use is hardly a sign of the honesty that you claim to be interested in.
1
@thorn4512 Yes, that's an excellent point if leissure time is your primary metric for happiness. I prefer living in a connected, educated world where minor diseases are not a death sentence, we have electricity and computers and are not in the thrall of the church. But at the same time, I definitely take your point.
1
@thorn4512 Again some very good points. "Only the BoE should create money and not private institutions; but that's probably an economics lesson too far for most." I'd be interested to hear you expand upon this a little please.

Did this really need to satrt with that fawning opening?

Very sad to see teenage bravado costing him his life.

@rob141 Unfortunately, Britain is land poor, so we have to build where we can. NO land is covered in an impermeable surface. Drainage off surfaces is built into every meter of urban development Rob. Unfortunately, extreme weather events are more frequent, partially due to climate change, and it doesn't matter how permeable the surface is, when you live on a flood plain, the water can only be drained away so quickly.
1
@Peepers2 I don't think it's about entitlement so much as necessity. Britain has a desperate housing shortage, so rules are being rewritten to address it. This is one rule that I don't think they should have rewritten.

Good for him. The sooner the monarchy disintegrates, the better.
1
@alexaelliott2598 Absolutely nothing. Get rid of the Lords as well while you're at it. Your question sounds to me like someone asking "If I cured cancer, what should I replace it with?" The Royal family are parasites - albeit mostly hardworking parasites, born into unearned priviliege, whilst living lives of unimaginable luxury.
1
Wanker. How can you promise that the virus will be under control by an arbitrary date? Stop making political decisions and start doing what's right for the country. Start by closing schools and colleges.
1
@opalfruits8596 I couldn't agree more. Demanding that children endure 30 hours of "education" then come home and are expected to put in up to another 20 hours a week, all unpaid, for an uncertain future is borderline abusive.
1
@will_khp TBH, self revision IS an essential part of memorisation. The Roman's learned by rote and their school day was dawn till dusk, but I'm positive that there MUST be a more effective, interactive means of teaching students. Once AI improves, I hope to see digital teachers who can act as a one-on-one tutor. How do you think education could be more effective Will?
1
@will_khp "I also acknowledge exams are important in assessing where a student is at." Except not though from what you just said. I agree, exams are a terrible way of assessing knowledge, and I agree, that it would be good to move away from them as a primary assessment tool, not least because schools educate to pass exams, not understand subject matter.
1
@JonsTunes No it doesn't. The frequency and magnitude of storms and hurricanes is increasing.
1
Farcical - how do you know?
1
@Cannon.7777 "so far been a lie" How do you know? "violation of family" if your family sucks, they deserve no loyalty.
1
@wayneparkinson4558 It's lunacy to do new builds on a flood plain, but if you live in an area that has 100 year floods, or 500, but climate change has suddenly turned that into 5 year floods, it's hardly your fault. That said, I think it's high time they start building flood proofing into the houses in these areas. It irritates me to see the same houses getting caught year after year having done no preparation since the previous one.
1
@unmarkedx6982 Wow, he did that quickly. Especially as climate change increases COLD weather as well as hot.
1
@newcastlenympho5240 True enough.

Do me a favour Fox, the UK made an agreement. That agreement is binding unless another one is negotiated. We don't simply decide it's inconvenient. Nice try though, trying to make this betrayal look like the will of the British people. Nobody boted for Britain's reputation to be trashed worldwide. This was an ADDITIONAL term that was added post hoc.Bozo acting like daddy Trump, thinking he's a strong man.

Leaving his press conference early probably raised America's IQ by a few points.
