The amount of rage I feel hearing about that horrific brutalisation in the last story, and knowing that greedy people brought such atrocities across the planet.

@davidblyth5495 The reason Zimbabwe for instance, had to beg for food after independence was PRECISELY because Mgabwe's corrupt Zanu PF party, and the Shona tribe he was a member of kicked all the professional white farmers off their lands, and instead gave it to members of his tribal militia, none of whom had any farming experience.

@davidblyth5495 Unfortunately, too much of Africa still governs itself tribally. And now it seems like the US wants to divide into two partisan tribes. So depressing.

@franny5295 That's the dumbest thing I ever read. Nazis are ostracised because it's a continuing racist, facist ideology. GERMANS are not ostracised, nor should they be. They are 4 generations past world war 2, and holding modern Germans - some of the progressive people in Europe, responsible for what a tine fraction of their population did 80 years ago would be moronic. If the population of every nation should be destroyed because of atrocities commited by their distant ancestors, I can guarantee that most African people would not walk away scott free either, to say nothing of decendants of the Romans, Huns, Vikings, Ottomans, French, and many, many other races. What matters is how we behave NOW.

@methylene5 Riiight - blacks were beating their slaves in America? Blacks were transporting them across the Atlantic with a huge mortality rate? It's blacks even in modern America who are subjugating each other? Yeah, there were bad blacks, just as there are bad whites, but don't rewrite history to feel better about yourself.
