  1. Sergei was a complete idiot. He reminds me of that muppet Christopher McCandless who, with no experience, just decided to go live in the Canadian wilderness. These idiot fantasists seem to have a total contempt for the expertise of the people who do it professionally. Frankly, I think caving, and even more so underwater caving, is a special kind of madness at the best of times.
