America needs to abolish presidential pardon power. For a nation that claims not to want a king, it sure treats its president like one.

@debruneau01 Given Trump's talk of bombing the border with Mexico, you're right to feel that way, but as Briton, I think the whole planet recognises Trump as a key inflection point in history. His greed, ego and vengefulness could take the whole Western world down.

@MrBwright72 Trouble is, America is so partisan and politicians showboat so much, anything that required bipartisan support would never pass, and anything that only required single party support will be abused. The supreme court was supposed to be a backstop, but now that even that has been corrupted...
