  1. Hasn't Dyatlov Pass been adequately explained as an avalanche? That last one is really sad - so close to rescue. The amazing thing is that a similar incident happened to a young British climber much more recently. You'd think that with all our technology, 100 yards would be a trivial distance to rescue someone from.
