  1. Some good observations, but not all. MMA fighters still operate within a strict rule set, and they may be as useless against a knfife or baseball bat, as someone who practices capoiera. Similarly, whilst the inability to practice harmful techniques against genuinely non-compliant opponents may reduce their practiced effectiveness, police, marines, and many other professions utilise these techniques in life and death situations without the advantage of having practiced at lethal levels previously.
