Yes, I noticed that. It was a very weak argument. If the money raised from taxing meat was put into making vegetables cheaper it would help.

@svmwasthesheet1971 "Who said eatimg meat was bad for you? We've been doing it for thousands of years, what changed? Ever wondered why we have canine teeth? " You're joking right? we died by the age of 45 for thousands of years. We had all manner of diseases for thousands of years. Just because we've been doing it a long time is a dreadful reason to continue. As for canine teeth, so what? We've evolved backs that cause millions of people agony, bones that break easily, throats that can easily be choked. And now we're dying of cancer and heart disease in record numbers. Evolution is not a perfect sculptor. I don't really think you thought that one through did you?

Population DECLINE is the greatest problem facing the western world.

Absolutely nobody in this documentary ordered you to do anything. Grow up.

Humans have not existed for millions of years. And we change now because the amount of greenhouse gases emittted by cattle farming is massively harming the ozone; because we're dying of obesity-related conditions in record numbers; and because it's ethical.

@murunbuchstanzangur She's a farmer.

@imapersonnotanumber8940 There is an unavoidable carbon cost in producing food. It is incomparably higher raising livestock.

@imapersonnotanumber8940 Indeed

@maximoo98 It's not sustainable and it's not true Max.

@maximoo98 "what’s not true?" That overpopulation is a problem. Population growth is decelerating and will reverse by 10 billion, at which point, coupled with our greater longevity, having ENOUGH working age people will be the problem.
1
@maximoo98 I agree with you completely Max. Unfortunately, society has evolved to require a growing younger generation to support the ones who are too old to work. Eventually, we'll reach a stage of automation where almost all labour is redundant, then this equation will be broken. But there are dark days ahead for today's youngsters I fear.

@maximoo98 Then eat the essential vitamins.

@shamsh09 "Just throw in some science and stats" Yeeees, and? If there's science and stats, WTF wouldn't you listen FFS.
