  1. "She's the only woman in the band". Yes, 33% of the band. What an asinine comment and a disappointing interview. They're a great band and she's an incredibly attractive woman with an amazing voice, but it sounds to me as though she's complaining that the music industry likes attractive front people. She's no more objectified than any of the boy bands that appeal to hormonal teen girls. She wears jeans and a tshirt, but I notice she still make an effort with her appearance. She recognises that her image is as much part of the music "product" as her voice and persona. Is she not listened to because she's a woman, or because she expresses opinions like the ones in this interview? I wouldn't take her seriously either.
