I would have liked to hear Esther explain the nature of her case, rather than simply complaining that her side was not receiving adequate compensation. She may well have a very good case, but as a Brit who has never even heard this issue raised before, I find it hard to form an intelligent opinion on this specific incident. In general, I feel that if the living generation is still suffering hardship as a result of historical injustice, then there is a case to be answered. However, holding onto enmity simply because someone who lived somewhere was once persecuted by someone else, is the kind of silliness that results in the Israel/Palestine conflict.
