  1. I quite agree Hugo. If the top one per cent (and companies) all paid their fair share of taxes for profits earned in the UK, the nation would be billions better off. In my government, a pound earned in the UK would be a pound taxed in the UK, and I don't care WHERE you're headquartered.

  2. Surely "I can do whatever I want so long as I have support" is an oxymoron? That said, I am torn between my desire to see disabled people receive a high quality of life, and the finite resources of the NHS.

  3. A brutal way of putting it, and I don't think GDP Is the issue so much as the number of things it needs to be spent on, but I agree with your general idea. Society can only support so many people taking from the system more than they contribute.
