  2. The problem is the burden of proof is very high with rape, and extremely high is in the case of partner rape. Add to that, extremely liberal courts with goddamned bleeding heart social workers who are constantly making excuses for criminals, and it's a perfect storm. "Just believe" has not helped the cause either, and the internet has made it almost fashionable to claim to have been raped or assaulted. The public is more sceptical than ever which is why the burden of proof is almost impossibly high. I truly feel for genuine victims though. They must feel almost powerless.
