  1. We have lots of Polish people in Basildon. Not met one I didn't like. I don't like the extra definition "hate crime", but those bastards should be charged with harrassment. Unfortunately it would only make things worse. The government is squarely to blame for the rise of racism with its immigration policies. When even liberals such as myself feel that there are too many of the wrong kind of immigrants being allowed in, maybe it's time for a second look.

  2. It doesn't count for as much as it used to. I'm certainly no SJW uber lib, but I believe in the basic tenets of liberalism - equality, a measure of socialism, womens' right to choose (reluctantly), holding police accountable, reigning in the right, reducing punitive sentencing, destroying the industrial military complex. opposing religion, and legalising drugs. And I voted Labour. Satisfied?

  3. Agreed. Multiculturalism sounded like a wonderful vision for the world, but it is clear that some cultures are simply too regressive to be allowed to play with the grown ups.
