  1. Why is it every story Farron reports on is made worse by his reporting? He's the progressive equivalent of Tucker Carlson, all earnest looks and emphatic sentences. He's trying WAAAAY too hard to ensure that we know the importance of his every word. He's like the William Shatner of news. I feel patronised and irritated in equal measure. Dial it back a bit Farron, you're reporting the news not performing Kabuki theatre.
