I disagree. All he did was advise the man how to most effectively present it. It did not give the bid special privilege in the bidding process.

@greenman6141 It DID mke a difference, but it's not corrupt, any more than an employment agency telling you how to structure a CV is corrupt. He wrote under a psedonym because he knew people like you would get your panties in a bunch and blow it up out of proportion. Why would he give the info to every bidder - he's trying to help his friend, not level the playing field. Jeez, now who's being silly? Are you being wilfully stupid?

@greenman6141 But the aide was not in human resources, nor was he in any way responsible for the hire so BOTH of your analogies are inaccurate.

Nothing to see here. The guy didn't get the contract directly because he was a friend of a friend. He got the contract because he presented a bid effectively. There were no special favours, and no illegality. Coaching people on how to most effectively present a bid is absolutely acceptable. Stop being a drama queen Farron.
