  1. Such a stupid platitude. A parachute that doesn't open is a bad product AS A PARACHUTE at any price. If you're arguing that it can be cut up and made into silk bloomers, then you're making a different argument. Now you're basically arguing for the raw materials value of anything you buy, but then you are no longer talking about it as a product.

  4. Since Covid, consumers have trained companies to have total contempt for us because we paid scalper pricing, and damn are they showing that contempt now. We need to reset their expectations.

  5. I don't know what I expected or hoped for, but the show seems to be all about cases, coolers, and monitors. They're vaguely interesting and all (how many times do I need to buy any of those things though?), but I was hoping for more interesting stuff: in computer cup holders, pop tart warmers, maybe even a new type of death ray controller. They haven't changed in 70 years.
