  1. I can only guess that the dopamine rush of asserting control over people, outweighed the pleasure of being known as the world's expert. There's a childhood back story to this guy; probably an abusive a father, or a ridiculing mother, or bullying schoolmates that have warped him so much that this little bit of power is somehow compensating for deep-seated feelings of insecurity. It would be tragic if he was not such a complete idiot. And the saddest thing is, he had a chance to be the hero, and if not the hero, then at least to quietly fade back into obscurity, but like Donald Trump, his fury of being opposed is so great that he's willing to destroy his life over it. Louis, I LOVE that you are willing to give people more chances. I know it leaves you open to being abused, but don't ever lose that part of your nature buddy. Don't become a worse person because of broken people like this.
