  1. An ad blocker costs £30 a year at tops. Youtube is £20 a month. if they were not so greedy, maybe they'd get more subs.

  3. Rather than charging the users for not wanting ads, start by making it against the TOS to have embedded ads. of course, they only arose after the adpocalypse. it's almost like youtube deliberately keeps shooting itself in the face.
