He handled it appallingly, but I actually didn't think his comments were that bad. Gay Pride rallies ARE a freak-show - not because gay people are there, but because SOME gay people behave freakishly. I would say the same thing about Mardi Gras, World Naked Bike Day, Burning Man Festival and the London Carnival. As for being unconvinced by the case that transgender is a condition not a choice, surely that's the heart of the scientific method - "I do not accept your proposition until you can provide reasonable proof for it." His comments about school teaching were a little stronger, but again, I can fully understand how any conservative or religious parent might wish to reserve the right to withhold more controversial issues of sexuality until at least high school.

Why are you worried about China - America has been at war continuously with at least one nation for the majority of the past 200+ years, not China. Face it, America are by far the greatest warmongers of the past 500 years.
26
Didn't the Chinese government already publicly state that there was no scientific evidence that acupuncture worked? You might as well get an untrained placeboist to poke you for half an hour at a fraction of the cost.

In fairness, given that everybody close to him HAS turned on him, his paranoia is completely justified. Also, who cares what time he gets up? He's still up at 3am. That said, I LOVE that he's going slowly crazy, consumed by the acid of his own bitterness and betrayal towards everybody he's ever know.
11
Oh give her a break! Now that Notre Dame has burned down she's lost her home. Still, I'm sure she'll find some more ramparts to sit on soon enough.
10
It's not Iranian world domination I fear. It's not Iranian drone strikes that innocent people across the world hate. It's not Iran that is so paranoid that it spies on the entire planet.
8
Pharozos That's quite true, but rallies tend to concentrate the freaks into a smaller, more visible group.
7
A low rent president for a low rent electorate.
7
The trouble with Trump-era Republicans is once they have surrendered to darkness, there's NOTHING restraining their future appalling behaviour. McConnell was always vermin, but what does he give a fuck, safely hidden away with the wealth his slimy behaviour has afforded him? If Pelosi and Schumer had ANY fight whatsoever for the opposite side, they'd nail the GOP to the wall for this, but of course they're so not utterly corrupt themselves, there's no chance of them standing up for what's right.

Isn't "executive time" what a teenaged boy does as often as possible in his bedroom with the door closed?
6
kurd55 Always deeply upsetting to be taunted by a 12 year old.
5
$100,000 in soldier wages, and 2 million in backhanders to the defence suppliers.
5
Says the man with 0 subscribers.
5
Just another rich POS with an out of control ego and far less talent than he thinks, and zero consistency or integrity.
5
The irony that a man who bullied his way through thr primaries with pathetic little nicknames for all his opponents is now so sensitive is incredible. That should be one more thing to call him on. Ocasio-Cortez should be the one to attack him to clear the path for the Dem's candidate in 2020.
5
What part of the FACTS of this report were garbage? The Epstein logs? The photos of Trump and Epstein? The video of him suddenly blustering when asked if the Epstein files should be released? The court determination that he had sexually assaulted E Jean? The video of him saying he was a star and stars were fortunately allowed to grab women by the p*ssy? I really fail to see how you can work up ANY indignation over a report in which Trump himself is the main witness against himself.
5
Why do I get the feeling Kolfage only joined the military so he could shoot brown people?
5
People are ABSOLUTELY right to mistrust science, and John, you are naïve if you believe that the goal of science is knowledge. The creation scientists disprove that. Some scientists seek knowledge, some seek to disprove it, and others, like climate change deniers, simply seek to sow enough confusion to muddy the waters. EVERY scientist is answerable to somebody, and we should all be sceptical of scientific research, especially when filtered through the lens of a fantastically biased media. But it doesn't mean that we can't use the products of science, or have a broad trust in the general consensus.
4
No he didn't. that was a fiction made up by the CIA.
4
I'm concerned when McCain says "If you don't like this, what's YOUR solution", as though his insanity gains any more credibility because others can't come up with a plan to help out in what is a very complex situation.
4
What the hell is TYT's issue with this man? You guys are such hypocrites sometimes. At least Bundy was working - hardly a moocher. But hey, why don't you just make up an entire back story for him too? Yes, Bundy is a douche, but you don't come out of this looking good either.
4
Any all-time list that doesn't include Skyrim and Borderlands is a travesty. ;-)

What a childish rant John. Maybe Cheney was simply saying that he's not going to psychologically agonise over the donor, because that would be detrimental to his own happiness. He expressed his gratitude (clumsily), but the last thing any organ recipient needs is to see the crying faces of the donor's children, and feel like he "stole" the heart from the father. It is a shame in Cheney's case, that they found a heart for him, but that's another matter.
4
I much prefer this informal format over the studio John.
4
He's high on the asshole spectrum. Don't make excuses for him.
4
What a vile state Texas is and what a piece of slime Cruz is.
4
Zuriki Yes you're probably right. But it's dangerous to make that assumption.
3
Pharozos I think your point is well made - the word is received in the context of the receiver AND the deliverer. Perhaps he meant it EXACTLY how you interpret it. That's the danger of using such an ambiguous word I guess. I'd prefer if he either just said "Gay pride is full of deviants" or "Gay pride is full of extremely colourful people" then we could be discussing his opinion, not analysing his intent.
3
HowlsFury There's NOTHING I've said which is homophobic or bigoted. I stand by everything.
3
What qualification did Reagan have to be president John? The fact that an ordinary person can rise to lead the most powerful nation on earth is the only hope America has to escape the strangle hold that money and business has over politics.
3
What's with all the "ye's" Jesus never said "ye", so if you're going to use a translation, why not use a modern one? That said, lots of good points John - one of the better presenters on TYT
3
Oh perleeeease let this catch on amongst homophobic bigots. That would be evolution taking a giant step forwards to wipe out the haters right there. Yet more projection by GOP, religious politicians.
3
If a dam bursts and kills 100,000 people, it's disastrous and tragic, but at least it can be rebuilt and people can live within 50 miles of it immediately. And it doesn't send a toxic cloud round the entire planet. I think our caution towards nuclear power is well deserved. This is NOT a straight numerical issue.
3
Calvin George James is a very angry person. On EVERY thread I've ever seen him talk, he just abuses his way through the whole thing. He's clearly desperately insecure.
3
***** There are many people, myself included, who find the thought of even a single vegetarian day, repugnant. Forcing it upon students is a recipe for dissatisfaction.
3
***** Thank you for your hysterical rant. Anyone who rails against freedom, is clearly a confused individual. You are doubtless one of these weak-minded individuals who takes comfort in it when the state makes all their choices for them. Saves you having t think or take personal responsibility huh? I have no idea which culture war you're referring to, but you clearly have personal issues to work through with your daddy. Go address those, then come back and try again when you're a bit more grown up.
3
You've taken my mind off it by talking about it, and using the words "KIYE WEDDDING in caps" thus capitalising on any interest. And you call others media whores. It's flight 370 all over again.
3
Because it's feminist propaganda on a channel that is just a bit too desperate to come across liberal.
3
Shock horror - Epstein's local store clerk "secret ties!" Not everyone who knew the man was up to anything nefarious FFS! Do you know how many people fraternised with John Wayne Gacy but never had the slightest clue? He was sociable, generous and fun to be around. I imagine that's a trait of many evil people - they're chameleons. Can we stop this pathetic guilt by association John - you're supposed to be on the side of decency.
3
Brett, you are mistaken - having an ON-PAPER tax loss of millions of dollars, yet owning billions of dollars of assets and living like an emperor is SUPERB business. Just look at Bezos or Musk - they don't get paid millions of dollars a year. They BORROW what they need and get paid little. Loans are not taxable. It enables them to avoid tax liability.
3
Anti-climb paint is basically grease.
3
Notice the uncomfortable-looking Phillipino-type womean behind to his right not chanting? WTF is this stupid fucking Aut Gemima thinking? She's one nod away from being murdered by the fucking crowd, and they don't give a fuck if she tries to appease by holding a Trump poster.
3
Milo didn't go away because people stopped talking to him. The left contributed little to his disappearance. Milo went away because during his brand of shock commentary he went too far and advocated the value of paedophilia so all of a sudden he became toxic. He starved himself of oxygen when he could no longer go on mainstream news or Fox, and the auditoriums he attended started having problems. Arguably, you could say that the activist left made it so expensive in terms of security for him to speak at small venues that he could no longer do so, but that would be a fucking dreadful thing to admit to.
3
Good to see this conversation totally dumbed down to discussions about precisely what your imaginary friend said about the Earth rather growing the fuck up and taking responsibility yourself. Sick to death of this presenter talking about her faith. Belief in a sky daddy is not a virtue.
3
Pharozos Yes, that's a fair point. But to clarify, to me a freak, in this context, is someone who dresses or behaves way outside the norm. Perhaps that's not what this guy means. How do you interpret HIS meaning?
2
Pharozos Yes ,I agree.
2
***** Not only do pedophiles go where the kids are, but the authoritarian and group nature of church, makes it faaar more likely that pedophiles will be sheltered.
2
***** If this is an example of the ignorant nonsense you are saying, then it's no wonder that you viewed as the antagonist.
2
TheCurmudgen I stand corrected, although I very much suspect that Reagan learned on the job, rather than coming to governorship from a business or university educated background. Certainly his presidency was not marked so far as I can remember, with any triumphs of business acumen, or political mastery.
2
How the hell do you control for women being less motivated? It's not callous if it's true. I'm not saying it is, but women certainly represent a worse value proposition for the same job as a man. Years off for pregnancy, a shorter career, and lower stamina. It seems crazy to me that you're still trying to argue that women and men in the workplace are equal when it's patently obvious that they're not.
