  1. He wasn't trying to be charming. When someone says to a professional news reporter "I'm sorry but I find it very hard to take you seriously" merely because of their accent, then at least, he's being a rude, unprofessional ass. If she'd said that to him.the interview would have been over.

  2. Perhaps so, but let's not forget that our media also bugged the phone of a murdered girl, as well as the phones of 1000's of other people. Our media are faaaaar from perfect. The tabloids are intrusive, dishonest, populist, and sleazy.

  3. Hold on John, I'm all for staying out of his private life in general, but when he's been this dishonest; this repeatedly stupid, I think it's fair play to question his judgement. I certainly don't wanna hear you singing a "Poor little Anthony" song. He's 100% the architect of his own troubles.
