  2. That certainly paints it in a very different context. Thanks for sharing the full picture. Very disingenuus of John to cut a vital part of the footage. So both players in this piece are scumbags. Still wouldn't vote for Weiner.

  3. The difference is, YOU'RE not trying to convince people that you are suitable for one of the most powerful offices in the country. The man chooses to be a public figure. He has no right to switch that off when it becomes inconvenient. He's reprehensible.

  4. I couldn't disagree more. As the man rightly said, there ARE some societal norms that you don't transgress. What Weiner does sexually is his business, but he's lied to the nation and his wife repeatedly and they ARE absolutely pertinent to his credibility as a candidate. As one of the people that Weiner has lied to, the man is TOTALLY within his rights to call him on it.

Are you suggesting that the media has demonised Weiner? That his repeated lying to the nation and infidelity to his wife are not noteworthy indicators of his trustworthiness in office, that his electorate have no rigt to hold him accountable? Or were you just trying to bolster your own ego with a pseudo intellectual put-down?

  6. I didn't hear the racist component. That still doesn't make the man wrong - it just makes him massively hypocritical for lecturing another man on his morality. Theists are good at that. It's not a matter of taking advice - what's right is right, regardless of whom says it.

  7. I don't think he was saying "How dare you walk through my airspace".But he was saying to the man, "You are a disgrace and should drop out of the race." Weiner takes every chance for a photo op, but you can't script real life. Now that everyone gets to see the real-world consequence of Weiner's scumbaggery, everyone leaps up to defend him. WTF?!

  8. John - dumbest advice ever. "He has no chance of being elected so let's leave him alone". So we should all just forgive and forget - whilst he's still in the race?Way to boost his chances! As long as he stands for office, he's fair game. The second he retires to a private role, or something where his integrity is not an an issue, I'll be happy to leave him alone.
