  1. What a childish rant John. Maybe Cheney was simply saying that he's not going to psychologically agonise over the donor, because that would be detrimental to his own happiness. He expressed his gratitude (clumsily), but the last thing any organ recipient needs is to see the crying faces of the donor's children, and feel like he "stole" the heart from the father. It is a shame in Cheney's case, that they found a heart for him, but that's another matter.
