  1. The trouble with Trump-era Republicans is once they have surrendered to darkness, there's NOTHING restraining their future appalling behaviour. McConnell was always vermin, but what does he give a fuck, safely hidden away with the wealth his slimy behaviour has afforded him? If Pelosi and Schumer had ANY fight whatsoever for the opposite side,they'd nail the GOP to the wall for this, but of course they're so not utterly corrupt themselves, there's no chance of them standing up for what's right.
