Given the fact that physics as we thought we understood it, even at a quantum level, breaks down and behaves in ways that we neither understand nor can predict, when mass becomes very high, how we can even claim with high probability that the universe expanded from an infinitely dense point is beyond me. Matter may be incompressible beyond a certain limit, and the starting matter of the big bang could have measured millions of light years across.
