I've been certain for a while now that Craig no longer believes intellectually, having been crushed so many times, but his wealth and reputation depends upon his belief, so the older he gets, the more he drifts towards the warm and fuzzy type of theism that lets him hand wave away logic. It's truly pathetic.

@NudlemanJones What further reasoning is necessary? I stated my proposition in my OC. You responded with a patronising comment. I pointed out the irony of ANY theistic apologist dismissively talking about "echo chambers?" That's not "attempting to be clever," that's a statement of literal fact. I have never seen so much head in the sand, parroting of long-defeated arguments as I see in apologetics circles. At least my opening comment was an original thought. It's unquestionable that Craig is retreating away from the hard line of apologetics that he held even just ten years ago. He still has the supercillious, self-confident tone, but his position has been gradually softening as he is faced with the logical and factual contradictions. Remember his "If reality contradicted the Bible, I'd assume I misunderstood the Bible line?" Don't hear that so much any more, but the comment in tis video is even worse. "Lower the standard of evidence." Seriously? It's pathetic. It's a man who has abandoned all reason and is simply going with his feels.
