I've been a professional artist and writer for 30 years. Trust me, getting up at 7am exercising and clubbing are not necessary. For humdrum work like writing reports or video editing or 3D modelling, the greatest asset is self discipline. Tell yourself that no matter what you will set aside some time each day for work 4-12 hours depending upon deadlines. Build in a little relaxation time like games or whatever. For creative work BY FAR the most important attribute is to feel relaxed and positive. Exercise helps but not anywhere near as much as paying your bills and having nothing nasty hanging over you. If you have study deadlines, meet them first. I personally get up around midday, chill for an hour. Work for as long as I am in the mood. Go train for an hour or two. Play games. Then work late into the night. My most creative time is after 10pm, but my early day work is best for hammering out drudge words (the kind of stuff you are not enthused about but which create the framework for your writing). Again, self discipline is critical.

@THE1stBRAINinTOWN My pleasure! One more piece of advice that I would give anyone - love what you do! If you don't love it, you're just marking time until you die. Every day, I wake up eager to work or play!
