  1. Britain has ALWAYS had draconian laws pertaining to freedom of speech, privacy, surveillance and other matters. And now Theresa May is looking to strip us of more of our rights. I imagine the powers that be couldn't be happier that terrorism has become such a big issue - it's just one more piece of bullshit to add to the justifications for banning porn, surveiling us constantly and fascist police powers along with "think of the children" "national security" and "for your own safety". That said, this man falls SQUARELY with the genuine key demographic being a Muslim immigrant who just visited the Middle East. I have no problem with him and those like him receiving greater scrutiny, although the line is a difficult one to draw.
