Nice try, no cigar. Now I suggest that you discard your silly identity politics and consider my argument rather than trying to prove what an intellectual you are. The fact is, in any voluntary exchange of information, there's a limit to how much utterly superfluous information one is willing to countenance before one loses interest or focus. If you ask me something really important, such as which candidate I recommend, and I prefix my recommendation with an irrelevant 10 minute ramble about my journey to the library, you'll be looking at your watch or for a way to interrupt. The bottom line is, at best, this woman's preamble was ill advised and at worse it was self indulgent. In short, her communication was ineffective. Dude.

No you're right Lila, opinions are wrong, except yours of course. My opinion that she could have delivered the information more effectively is of course invalid. And what have YOU added to the conversation with your whiny critique of my opinon? And as for being a bully, you can get lost with that self martyring crap. Until this moment I was politely articulating my opinion that her delivery was sub optimal and it clearly was. If YOU now feel bullied, well perhaps you should not have stuck your self righteous nose in to chide me for my OPINION. If you mean HER, I hardly think that she's reading, and if she is, then she can learn something about communication from someone who clearly knows a lot more about it than either of you.
