By withdrawing, American companies are free to pollute, raising global temperatures and contributing to the extremes of weather that particularly affect low lying areas. As the man pointed out, these kinds of floods were a massive rarity, but due to climate change they will happen with much greater frequency.

  3. No it's not. Climate change factors in solar energy. Whether short term rises in solar temperatures caused THIS SPECIFIC hurricane is irrelevant to the claim that man made climate change makes such extreme weather events more likely in the future.
