  3. Did they have fine enough weights back then for weighing egg whites? I remember my mother and grandmother both trying it over 40 years ago. I don't recall them ever having much success with it. Keeping the air was always their shortfall. It looks delicious. I bet a drizzle of whipping cream or vanilla ice cream would round off that raspberry perfectly.
