If protests are not inconvenient, nobody pays attention to them. If they were protesting to save the environment, I'd applaud them. I cannot demonise their protest just because I do not agree with their cause.

@RK-kc5kk I never claimed they WERE protesting peacefully. How much good would peaceful protest have been in emancipating the slaves or kicking the Nazis out of Germany or defeating imperialism in India? Sometimes a just cause takes action that hurts in the short term. Legality is simply what the people in power have deemed acceptable. They're hardly going to legalise something that leads to their own overthrow are they? To be clear, I do NOT agree with their cause, but, like freedom of speech, I must stand for their natural law right to make their voices heard. By the same token, I stand for the police right to arrest them all and drag their vehicles away, just as I would if they were climate protestors.
