  1. Completely appalling behaviour by the police BUT people have to stop using dementia as an excuse for law breaking. If the man had hit and killed a pedestrian or other drivers, would anyone say "Well, we'll overlook it as he had dementia?" If the guy had dementia that badly, he was not safe to be driving a car.

  3.  @SiLvErWaRe000  His wife repeatedly mentioned that he had dementia. Why didn't she mention any other medical condition he had? Because she felt that dementia merited extra sympathy. And now you're doing exactly the same " He wasn't listening, worse crime ever, because of his dementia." I'm in no way saying that his behaviour warranted this massive overreaction. These police should be in prison for murder.
