Apart from the laughable claim that America has more of value of life than any other country, Hailey was 100% right. This withdrawal has been a catastrophe from start to finish. @santobarca5 I agree somewhat, but even among many bad options, there are better and worse ones. I hate to quote the orange clown, but he was spot on when he said "We don't telegraph our actions." Putting in place plans for how the civilians were to escape BEFORE evacuating the troops was an obvious one. Consulting with your allied nations is another. This was a total shit show, and the responsibility is 100% on Biden's shoulders.
