  1. Your right to control your own body rightly ends when it affects someone else's right to life, even if the other person is not able to object. Portraying this as a personal rights issue shows how blissfully ignorant you are of the opposing perspective. The debate is about when an embryo/fetus achieves sentience and personhood. The fact that you still see this as a personal rights issue means you will NEVER persuade conservatives and many on the left. I DESPISE abortion, but I see it as marginally preferable to to the alternative in terms of harm. I could not care LESS about the right to choose for women who have already demostrated that they cannot even make the intelligent choice to use contraception. Women who have been raped or who have medical issues are of course, a special case.
