What really infuriates me, is at the end when he's shown to be innocent, the cop tells him not to say anything to his damned false accuser! "Just keep yo black mouth shut boy!" is how I heard it.

@lucboy13 I didn't twist them, I read between the lines. White Sheriff calls police because black man couldn't possibly have a legit reason to be in a white neighbourhood. Lies about the encounter that brings 40 law enforcement personell to his aid. Black man proven innocent, then STILL told to keep his mouth shut as he leaves the scene.

@lucboy13 But THIS black man IS innocent. THIS cop was racist. So your tirade is literally defying the evidence of your own eyes. The police and the judiciary have been PROVEN to be institutionally racist. And no, I DON'T always think "black man innocent." Chauvin should be executed, but he did society a favour in killing habitual criminal and former armed robber George Floyd. I certainly don't think "white man bad" but why are YOU so defensive about the issue? Is it possible that it upsets you to lose the privilege you may have enjoyed all your life? And for the record, my father is black, not that it should make any difference.

@dnice75 I hope that you are referring to the cop given the fact that 40 cops turned up and the man could have been shot for the "crime" of delivering newspapers while black.

@lucboy13 I already said Floyd WAS a criminal. But his murder was appalling nevertheless. The penalty for passing counterfeit money or struggling while someone kneels on your neck, is not death.
