Absolutely 100% his fault with all the secret squirrel crap. i totally get that he didn't want to draw attention to the withdrawal, but speaking in riddles or not speaking at all was a recipe for miscommunication. If it had been a white person dressed AS HE WAS, I strongly suspect her reaction would have been exactly the same. There was no racial profiling here - it was class profiling. Of COURSE they pulled out their guns - they thought they were dealing with a potential armed robber.

There's plenty of racial profiling, but this wasn't an example of it. The teller was BLACK FFS.
