You're absolutely wrong on this issue. The Nazi salute is not used to SUPPORT Nazis, but to imply fascism. Whether you agree with that assessment (I don't) or not, America is a nation that is rated as a failing democracy. Its own former leader was a fascist, and one party is actively engaged in the overthrow of democracy. Making a hand gesture that opposes that is TOTALLY reasonable.
